Clare Porter

Associate Director

The fast-paced, high-energy environment that is considered ‘daily life’ at the agency is actually a welcome break for our Associate Director and mum of three, Clare. As much as she loves spending time with her spirited, adorable twin boys and daughter, she has enjoyed writing since she was a child herself (not to give away her age but she was often creating great works on the family typewriter for hours on end!).

Since joining The Bespoke Group as an Account Executive in 2007, the creativity involved in strategising and then running a PR campaign, is also what has kept her at the company. However, Clare started her career on the other side of the PR fence, working on the editorial team for a book and magazine publisher. She decided she needed a complete change and went to the other side of the world for six months to look for it in Australia. There she swam in the Barrier Reef, travelled the Great Ocean Road, and witnessed the beauty of Uluru. She also worked for a publishing and events company in Sydney and, despite this city being top of her list when it comes to favourite places she’s travelled to, Clare realised that she wanted to return home and pursue a role in PR. Fair dinkum.
