Joint exhibit with Goss Emphasizes Compelling Proposition of Integrated Solutions

Hudson, NH USA – September 23, 2016 – Presstek, LLC, leading provider of eco-friendly printing solutions, today announced its full line-up of exhibits for Graph Expo 2016, September 25^th -28^th. The Presstek booth (# 2731) at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida will showcase its latest printing solutions engineered to deliver speed, quality, versatility and simplicity.

With the PRESSTEK 52DI ECO-UV taking center stage, demonstrations of this 4-color high speed digital offset waterless press will highlight its all-new integrated low energy ECO-UV curing system. Designed to deliver instantly dried traditional and non-absorptive substrates, it offers faster job turnaround for a wider range of substrates including vinyl and plastics, allowing printers to offer an expanded product portfolio to customers. As with all Presstek DI presses, the PRESSTEK 52DI ECO-UV incorporates on-press chemistry-free thermal laser imaging. It is free from click charges and has built-in automation for ease of use and low maintenance. The 52DI landscape model prints up to 10,000 sph for sheet sizes up to 14.76″x20.47″, and is available with optional inline aqueous coating or integrated ECO-UV system.

Promoting superior color management, Presstek is also exhibiting the new DI AutoColor, a closed-loop color control system for DI presses that has been designed to provide highly consistent color, reduce makeready times and help further minimize ink and substrate waste.

Visitors can also learn about Presstek’s new Dimension Pro2 thermal CTP system and comprehensive range of chemistry-free, thermal, violet, inkjet, and waterless plate options. Thermal plates being imaged live in the Presstek booth, include:

• GemPlate – For the ultimate simplicity in platemaking, GemPlate is chemistry-free and develops on press. GemPlate will be imaged on the new Presstek Dimension Pro2 thermal platesetter which can be bundled with Presstek service programs.
• Nytro – Presstek’s newest eco-friendly, high-performance, no-preheat plate is UV compatible and suitable for a range of processing configurations and press types, including sheetfed or web, heatset, coldset or UV.

To complete the Graph Expo line-up, Presstek is also demonstrating inkjet CTP with the Presstek JT plate, JT RIP and Epson inkjet printer. Combined, these three elements provide a dual purpose system that allows metal platemaking and inkjet printing on one system without any modifications or changing of inks.

The exhibit at Graph Expo marks the first joint appearance in the Americas of Presstek and Goss International following the drupa 2016 announcement of their strategic partnership.
